Amazon is back once again with a new promotion for Android and Amazon Underground users. The latest offering will yield a $5 credit to any Android user who follows the directions below. This promotion is good on "products sold by Amazon.com or digital content sold by Amazon Digital Services" and is valid for US residents only through December 24th. To redeem your $5 promotional credit, simply follow these directions:
- Visit the Amazon Underground promotional page and enter your email address to receive the download link.
- Access your phone's Settings page and press Security or Applications
- Check the Unknown Services box and press OK when prompted
- On your Downloads or My Files page, find "Amazon_App.apk" and install
- Download any of these games to receive your $5 credit, which should arrive via email a few minutes later.
Note: if you already have the Underground App installed, you can redeem this $5 credit by downloading any of these qualifying titles.
Amazon launched its Underground app store for Android back in August, delivering over $10,000 worth of free apps and games. Popular titles include Goat Simulator, Star Wars Rebels: Missions, Monument Valley and others.
